Señor Diputado, en nombre del partido Cuba Independiente y Democrática (CID), fundado por el Comandante Huber Matos, queremos felicitarlo por la valiente solicitud a la Comisión Europea sobre la malversación de fondos europeos por parte del régimen en Cuba.
Durante mucho tiempo, el CID ha denunciado la corrupción y cierta complicidad en el uso de estas donaciones europeas que solo sirven para aumentar los privilegios materiales de la nomenclatura comunista en detrimento de las necesidades de la sociedad civil y la implacable represión del régimen.
Es hora de que la Comisión Europea evalúe y controle estas donaciones para que puedan ser utilizadas para desarrollar el bienestar de la población y alcanzar los objetivos marcados por la Comisión.

Message to Mr. Deputy Björn Söder member of the Swedish parliament
On behalf of the Cuba Independiente y Democrática party (CID), founded by Commander Huber Matos, we would like to congratulate you for the courageous request to the European Commission regarding the embezzlement of European funds by the government in Cuba.
CID has denounced corruption and a certain complicity in the use of these European donations which only serve to increase the material privileges of the communist nomenclature and the implacable repression of the regime.
It is time for the European Commission to evaluate and control these donations so that they can be used to develop the well-being of the population and to achieve the objectives set out by the Commission.
