Gibara Hospital
Gibara, February 9, 2017
Dayani Hernández, 21, a neighbor of Cantimplora, Camino 200 mil, Gibara, just died because of lack of medical assistance as she was suffering since the morning from fever, vomiting, diarrhea, strong headache and reddish streaks all over her body (all of which indicated dengue fever).

Her mother asked the emergency doctor to send her to the Provincial Hospital because the Gibara hospital lacks the equipment needed for these cases and the doctors working there do not have the required knowledge. The emergency doctor (a Bolivian) refused and said it was nothing and that she could remain there. The young woman died leaving a nursing baby girl.

Where is this country’s medical strength, there is so much pride of? They take doctors to other countries and leaving their own totally unprotected. Where is these doctors conscience?
What does the hypocritical, communist government ruling Cuba do to solve the people’s problems?…NOTHING.
