PROBLEM STATEMENT:
In the municipality of Niquero, Granma, three young fishermen have been assaulted and criminalized, representing another dark chapter of abuse of power in Cuba. These young men, employees of a local MIPYME, were brutally beaten by agents of patrol 512, who, allegedly in a state of intoxication, even fired shots at them.
Medical reports confirm the violence suffered, but in a twist typical of authoritarian regimes, the victims now face charges of «assault» and «attack.» This seems to be an attempt by the regime to cover up police impunity and punish those who do not submit.
Additionally, it has been reported that one of the police officers had been trying to shut down the company where the fishermen work, suggesting possible political and economic persecution.
SPECIFIC REQUEST:
We demand that the responsible police officers be identified and punished for this brutality. It is essential that a thorough and transparent investigation is conducted to ensure justice for these young men and put an end to police impunity.

Les rapports médicaux confirment la violence subie, mais dans un retournement typique des régimes autoritaires, les victimes font maintenant face à des accusations d'»agression» et d'»attentat». Cela semble être une tentative du régime de couvrir l’impunité policière et de punir ceux qui ne se soumettent pas.
De plus, il a été rapporté qu’un des policiers avait tenté de fermer l’entreprise où travaillent les pêcheurs, ce qui suggère une possible persécution politique et économique.
DEMANDE CONCRÈTE :

Nel comune di Niquero, Granma, tre giovani pescatori sono stati aggrediti e criminalizzati, rappresentando un altro capitolo oscuro dell’abuso di potere a Cuba. Questi giovani, dipendenti di una MIPYME locale, sono stati brutalmente picchiati dagli agenti della pattuglia 512, che, presumibilmente in stato di ubriachezza, hanno persino sparato contro di loro.
I referti medici confermano la violenza subita, ma in una svolta tipica dei regimi autoritari, le vittime ora affrontano accuse di «aggressione» e «attentato». Questo sembra essere un tentativo del regime di coprire l’impunità della polizia e punire coloro che non si sottomettono.
Inoltre, è stato riferito che uno degli agenti di polizia stava cercando di chiudere l’azienda in cui lavorano i pescatori, suggerendo una possibile persecuzione politica ed economica.
RICHIESTA SPECIFICA:
Esigiamo che gli agenti di polizia responsabili di questa brutalità siano identificati e puniti. È fondamentale che venga condotta un’indagine approfondita e trasparente per garantire giustizia per questi giovani e porre fine all’impunità della polizia.
